This lovely apartment in Punggol is surrounded by lush greenery all around as it is built just beside a park! The owners wanted to go with a Scandinavian theme which is most appropriate for this setting and we conceptualize the design of this apartment taking into account that the owners are avid travellers who have many memorabilia to display.
The first sights that greets you when you enter this apartment is a long sideboard for displaying paintings and collectibles which are also the shoe cabinets and TV feature. It comes complete with cove lighting to bring out the simplicity of the clean lines while highlighting displayed items. The floor colour syncs with the carpentry but we went with a bolder choice to fit the client’s personality.
The sofa choice is an interesting one with deeper seats and around 2m in length to create a lavish resort lounge that makes you want to roll in it. The cushion covers are chosen by the owners with faux fur and animals prints to blend in with the nature.
The kitchen area is extended and integrated with the living space to allow for more counter top space to allow baking and cooking parties to take place comfortably and since a fair bit of cooking will be done, we used glass to enclose the area to ensure functionality without compromising aesthetics.
