231 Upp Paya Lebar Road Botanique

Project Price $49,000

A couple owns this 2 bed room, 750 sq feet condominium unit in Upp Paya Lebar and since space is a constraint in this unit, they wanted to focus on having more storages and look forward to a clean, bright and minimalist space.

The owners also loved the Japanese style and like to shop at Muji, hence our designer helped them to put together this house that is coherent to the theme.

The distinctive Muji-inspired colour palette is lots of white with light woodgrain and we kept that colour consistent in the whole apartment except for the bathrooms which are done in calming warm brown.

We made use of light wood louvered panel in the design and we are pleased with the mini café corner in the living room that can be covered by louvered door when not in use.

The TV console is kept clean and true to the minimalist theme but the detailing on the panels makes the smooth boards looked more 3 dimensional and a shelve had been embedded into the structure to make a ledge.

A walk around this apartment and you will be feel like you were in Japan!

Theme: Muji-inspired minimalist
